I drew this piece of John Wayne for my wife’s step-dad, who is a HUGE John Wayne fan.  I also took pictures every so often while drawing to document the process.  Doing progress breakdowns has become sort of a side-hobby of mine while drawing, simply because I’m finding the creative process to be as much of a fascination, anymore, as the end result of the creativity, itself.  Most drawings I do anymore will tend to feature breakdowns.
