Many, many moons ago, when my wife and I were both students at Modesto Junior College, and we were no more than friends, she had an assignment for her Children’s Literature class to write a children’s book. I was working on my Art degree, and she needed an illustrator, so I came up with pictures for her story, she submitted it, got an A on her assignment, and Palmer The Worm was born.

Fast forward through many major life changes, and now she’s my lovely wife, we have a small gang of wild children, and we’re revisiting our first collaboration. We’re trying to put Palmer The Worm out there into the universe.

Palmer tells the story of a young worm who wants his life to be more than just dirt, so he heads out into the world in search of adventure…but what he finds might be more of an adventure than he bargained for.
